This free veterinary CPD session is led by our wonderful second-year Surgery Resident, Stavros Karydas.

Amongst the crucials of cruciate repair, Stavros will discuss:

– The importance of the clinical examination

– The best approach when taking radiographs to diagnose ruptured cruciates

– Appropriate treatment options to support a full recovery for patients to be able to live a normal, active life

– Why TPLO (Total Plateau Levelling Osteotomy) is our preferred surgery and why we do not tend to perform TTA’s (Tibial Tuberosity Advancement) or Lateral Suture procedures

– Post-operative care
