What?

Endocrine diseases are some of the most common diseases that we see in practice. Patients with these diseases are often those we can make the biggest difference to as veterinary nurses.

Learn more about how to support the endocrine patient in this session on managing hyper- and hypothyroidism, Cushing’s and Addison’s disease and diabetes mellitus. Laura will also discuss how to recognise signs of each disease, as well as diagnosis, up-to-date treatments and how nurses can make a difference to these patients.

Laura is an experienced CPD provider and loves all things medicine, especially feline medicine, endoscopy and emergency medicine. She is one of just a handful of veterinary nurses in the UK to hold a Veterinary Technician Specialist qualification in Internal Medicine. Laura is also passionate about sharing her knowledge with other veterinary professionals, by providing educational resources across her website and social media.
