When patients present in respiratory distress, there may be an immediate danger to their life.
If you’d like to boost your confidence in stabilising these cases, or maybe just wish to refresh your knowledge on how to bring them out of the initial crisis stage, then this free CPD session is designed for you.
On the evening of Thursday 26th January, our ECC Specialist, Rachael Birkbeck, will guide you through common respiratory emergencies, signs to look out for and stabilisation tips.
In February 2023, Rachael will deliver a session about another of the two major body systems, this time focussing on cardiovascular stabilisation. Watch this space to book your place
Food and drink will be available from 7pm; the presentation will start at 7.30pm.

Hi there, myself and one of the nurses I work with (Jenny Uphill) would really like to attend the event. We see that the event is sold out but wondered if we could be considered if 2 spaces become available?

Hi Daisy, thank you for your message. If we have any cancellations we absolutely will let you know. We will be filming the lecture and will place the recording within our Library and on our YouTube channel. Our next CPD event in February will be another ECC lecture, titled, Cardiovascular stabilisation. More details to follow.
