Taking a closer look with Diagnostic Imaging
In this two-part session our Head of Diagnostic Imaging, Livia Benigni DVM MRCVS FHEA CertVDI PGCertAP DipECVDI RCVS and EBVS® Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging will guide you through some challenging imaging cases and will provide a refresher on thoracic radiology.
From fundamental imaging to advanced imaging, sometimes what we expect clinically is not exactly what we find with diagnostics. In the first part of the evening, Livia will review a few examples of challenging imaging cases. Some of these cases may be challenging because advanced imaging was necessary to fully understand the underlying problem, and some cases may be challenging because the clinical presentation was unusual or misleading.
In the second half of the evening, we take a closer look at some thoracic radiographs to refresh and test your knowledge in thoracic radiology. This will be an interactive session, as we review and discuss a series of classic and interesting thoracic radiography cases.
