Nurse Training Coordinator
Lisa qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2003, via the NVQ route and remained in first opinion practice for 4 years. In 2007, she embarked on a career in referral nursing, joining a large multidisciplinary referral centre in Surrey. Here she worked as a Rotating Nurse, before joining the Theatre Nursing team. Lisa achieved the DipAVN qualification in 2012, and with a passion for Anaesthesia and urgical nursing Lisa spent several years working as a Theatre Nurse alongside coaching and training new members of the team. During this time a new passion for teaching and training was sparked.
Lisa joined The Ralph in July 2019, first as a Senior Nurse in the Anaesthesia and Theatre department. More recently, she has hung up her scrubs and taken on her new role of Nurse Training Coordinator.
In her spare time she enjoys long walks with her rescue Golden Retriever, Sammie, gins, reading and cooking.
