Senior Ophthalmology Nurse

Tash qualified as an RVN in 1999 and has worked in a variety of first opinion, referral and emergency care settings throughout her career. She has returned to The Ralph as Senior Ophthalmology Nurse and loves being part of a team that makes a real difference to the lives of patients and their families.

She is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care and believes that supporting carers throughout their pet’s treatment journey is just as important as caring for the patient.

Teaching and mentoring have always been an important part of Tash’s career. During her time away from The Ralph, she lectured student veterinary nurses at college, but soon realised how much she missed being in clinic, caring for patients and supporting their families.

Tash has a particular interest in patient safety and understanding how human factors influence the care patients receive.

Outside of work, Tash enjoys spending time outdoors, whether gardening, wild camping or swimming. She also loves learning new things and spending time with family.
