Tash Knox

Senior Ophthalmology Nurse

Tash qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1999 and since then has worked in practices and hospitals across Hampshire and Surrey, gaining valuable experience in a variety of nursing roles and emergency care.

After studying at Harper Adams University, she decided to make the leap into referral work and has never looked back. Throughout her career she had exposure to Ophthalmology specialists so was delighted to be offered a role working within the Ophthalmology department here at The Ralph. Tash is passionate about eyes, patient safety and is constantly striving to develop her skills and knowledge in these areas. She is committed to improving high standards of nursing care for our patients and strongly believes in the Ralph’s core values and culture.

As well as loving everything ocular she has a keen interest in feline behaviour and feline friendly practices, as she has two beautiful pussy cats at home.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family including her two cats, Kylo and Leia. Tash likes to compete in running challenges and has raised money for a variety of charities but has recently taken up hiking and wild camping.
