Smaragda graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 2020. She then had the opportunity to complete an Internship in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at Veterinary Clinics Auth where she developed a passion for Anaesthesia and Critical Care. Following this she joined another Internship in Diagnostic Laboratory Auth and also worked in General Practice in Greece for several months.

In January 2023, Smaragda joined The Ralph as an Anaesthesia Intern hoping to expand her skills and knowledge with a great interest in locoregional anaesthesia and managing critically ill patients.
