Natasha Barr
Theatre/Anaesthesia Nurse
Tash started her journey when she undertook a Extended Animal Management course in 2016.
Alongside studying this course Tash also undertook multiple work experience placements some being within Veterinary Practices. After completing this course Tash took some time out and undertook some volunteering one place being an Equine Volunteer at the Blue Cross.
At the end of 2019 Tash travelled to South Africa and undertook 6 weeks as a African Wildlife research Volunteer, undertaking many skills. While Volunteering in South Africa Tash carried out observation of animal physical condition to detect illness or conditions requiring medical care and many other things on many different animals with the main animal she was observing was the African Elephant.
After this trip Tash started working as a Student Veterinary Nurse in a first opinion small animal practice in December 2019 and worked through Covid to then start her SVN course in 2021 where she qualified June 2023.
Since starting her Veterinary Nurse training Tash has always had a interest in Anaesthesia and when qualified decided to pursue her interests. Tash relocated from the Gloucestershire area with her rescued cat, Toby.
