Vet Surgeon Roles in ECC and Medicine

We are currently looking to fill the following vet surgeon roles.

Emergency & Critical Care (ECC)

Our 24/7/365 referral ECC service has been one of our busiest. Team ECC now consists of:

– Two, soon to be three, full-time equivalent ECC Diplomates
– Several Advanced Practitioner-level Staff Clinicians
– Five dedicated ECC nurses including our experienced Senior Nurse
– Three ECC Interns

The service operates out of our separate Dog and Cat ICUs and Emergency Dog Ward. We have all the advanced facilities you would expect in a dedicated referral ICU. We are one of the very few centres in the UK that offers mechanical ventilation.

The current roles on offer are:

Two full-time ECC internships starting in February (or as soon thereafter as possible) when two our of current interns finish.
One full-time or part-time ECC Out of Hours Staff Clinician. This role predominantly involves working nights and weekends. We will only consider experienced ECC OOH vets for this role, ideally with a further post-graduate qualification. The start date is flexible for the right candidate.

Internal Medicine

Our Internal Medicine service is a core service within our multidisciplinary hospital. Team Medicine is steadily growing! It now consists of:

– Three almost full-time Diplomates with more joining in the months ahead.
– Three dedicated Medicine nurses including our experienced Senior Nurse with VTS (Medicine)
– Three Internal Medicine Interns

We are seeking to recruit one full-time Internal Medicine intern to start in March when one of our current interns finishes.
