Theatre Technician

Our surgical caseload continues to grow, and we are therefore looking to expand our team of Ralphers helping in Theatre and Sterilisation Services. This varied role will involve working in Sterilising, Theatre and Anaesthesia Induction. It is pivotal to our clinical services affecting patient care, safety and workflow.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

~ Maintaining, cleaning, sterilising and processing all surgical instruments, kits, and equipment to a high standard.

~ Assisting the Theatre team with daily workflow, including preoperative patient preparation and infection control measures.

~ Ensuring clinical areas are cleaned, stocked and maintained to a high standard.

Sterilisation responsibilities will focus on ensuring efficient and accurate turnaround of surgical kits ready for patient procedures.

You will work closely with our Theatre supervisor, the other Theatre Technicians, our Surgical team, and our Theatre/Anaesthesia nurses.

We are looking for applicants who can display a can-do attitude and an eye for detail. Related experience would be ideal, but it is not essential. We will provide full training and support.

  • Salary: £18,550-24,000
