Night Owls Wanted: Join Our Night Nurse Team!
“I enjoy being a night nurse because overnight the hospital is a more quiet and relaxing environment. The lights are turned off to allow the patients to sleep and I’m able to spend more one-on-one time with the patients. I love those precious moments…”.
Perhaps you like the different feel and atmosphere of a hospital at night. Maybe working nights offers the flexibility you need around family or other commitments. If working nights resonates with you, we have just the right opportunity.
The Ralph is the UK’s largest independent (non-corporate, non-university) multidisciplinary specialist referral centre in southeast England (Marlow, Buckinghamshire, near London). #TeamRalph comprises ~260 talented and compassionate Ralphers who work together to deliver exceptional care and support to our patients and their families.
Our Night Nurse team has full-time or part-time permanent nursing opportunities. We prefer referral experience, but this is not essential. You will receive extensive onboarding and work alongside other nurses and Patient Care Assistants with the support of an ECC Out-of-Hours Advanced Practitioner vet. Our caseload is plentiful and varied.
We highly support professional development and growth. We encourage active participation in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
Working pattern:
– Full-time equates to forty hours per week, including a one-hour paid lunch break per shift.
– Night shifts are twelve and a half hours long.
– The rota covers weekdays and weekends.
– You will only do up to four shifts in a row.
– You will typically have a minimum of four nights off between blocks of shifts.
– Bank Holidays are shared equally among the team.
Please get in touch with us for more details.

Marlow:
Marlow is located on the River Thames between Henley and Windsor. This is a beautiful area with lovely walks, water-based activities and more. Our hospital is just off the A404, has easy access from the M4 and M40 motorways, and is close to London.
