With the arrival of longer days, there’s been a gentle lift in the hospital as our patients and the team enjoy a little more daylight. Our canine patients have been making the most of extra light in the garden, stretching their legs and enjoying the warmth of the sun, while our feline friends have been enjoying more window watching during enrichment sessions in our dedicated room.
In this edition, you’ll find clinical insights from our Internal Medicine and Soft Tissue Surgery teams, practical tips from our cat nurses, and an introduction to some of our carer-facing support roles and behind-the-scenes clinical roles. We also take a closer look at supporting pet carers through grief on page 9.
As always, thank you for being part of our journey. Since opening on the 14th February 2019, The Ralph has now been caring for patients for seven years, and we are deeply grateful for the trust and collaboration we’ve shared with you over that time.
