Stacy was born in South Africa and moved to the UK when she was 16 years old. She has always had a passion for animals since a young age. Stacy grew up on a farm with her family that breed crocodiles, have many dogs and cats, and farm with cows, pigs, sheep and chickens.
Stacy always wanted to be a dog handler in the Army, but fell in love with caring for patients in a veterinary setting. She qualified as an RVN in May 2019, and has worked in many first opinion and charity veterinary hospitals. Stacy has a great interest in surgery and anaesthesia.
She also ventured out of small animal practice and volunteered in South Africa in a capture and release programme for a range of wild species such as Buffalo, antelope, rhino and more.
Stacy is now looking at expanding her career with referral as a theatre nurse and can’t wait to see where her ventures take her next.
She also has a few pets of her own. Griffin her cat, Tucker her 3 year old German Spitz Cross, Maisie her 7 year old Chihuahua and Toby her 10 year old Jack Russel Terrier.
Stacy loves old classic cars, camping, venturing around the world and a lovely night in wit her pets and family.
