Sophie graduated from the University of Bristol in 2020 and went on to complete a rotating internship in a private 24/7 hospital in Manchester. Following this she spent a year dividing her time between 2 part time jobs: daytime GP & weekend emergency overnight shifts before leaving rainy England behind and emigrating to Australia. Sophie spent 3 years in sunny Sydney working at a large multi disciplinary hospital in the ECC department, working both day and sole charge overnight shifts where she not only treated dogs and cats but lots of Australia’s native wildlife. It was during this time that her passion for anaesthesia grew and moved back to the UK to join The Ralph in the summer of 2025.

Outside of work Sophie is a keen runner, recently having completed her second marathon, avid gym goer and loves to travel and explore new places. On rainy days she can be found scouting out new local cafes for brunches, reading or Netflix binging on the sofa!
