Shanice has always grown up with pets; her first dog was a Staffordshire bull terrier, which she got when she was 1 week old. She grew up with him until they were both 13 years old, and during that time, Shanice realised she wanted to pursue a career in helping animals and people. 

Shanice now has two dogs, one French bulldog x pug named Arlo and a Staffordshire bull terrier x American bulldog named Marley. In her spare time, she enjoys going on walks and also enjoys going to festivals in the summer!
