Anaesthesia & Analgesia Diplomate and Head of Anaesthesia and Analgesia

Robyn graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Science from the University of Glasgow in 2015. Whilst working at her first practice in Reading, she realised she had a passion for anaesthesia, so returned to the University of Glasgow Small Animal Hospital to complete a rotating internship. Following this, Robyn undertook a residency in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia at the University of Bristol, Langford Veterinary Hospital. During the residency, Robyn gained a great interest in locoregional anaesthetic and analgesic techniques. Robyn became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia in December 2023.

In 2025 Robyn became Head of our Anaesthesia and Analgesia service.

Robyn has always surrounded herself with animal companions. She currently has two cats, Sven and Beastie, and a labrador, Willow. Willow is Robyn’s shadow and comes to work on a daily basis, getting lots of love from everyone she meets.

Outside of work, Robyn enjoys baking, painting, and gardening, the latter with which she receives lots of help from Willow!
