Neurology Vet Intern

Rachel graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2019, having also completed an intercalated degree in Neuroscience at King’s College London. Following graduation, she spent three years working in general practice in Sheffield before embarking on a rotating internship at the Royal Veterinary College in 2022. Rachel enjoys both clinical practice and research, and completed a Masters Degree by Research at the University of Oxford in March 2025. Her study focussed on clinical and laboratory aspects of autoimmune encephalitis in cats. 

Rachel joined Team Ralph as a Neurology Intern in 2025. She has a particular interest in neuroinflammatory diseases, neurodegeneration and the ‘One Health’ philosophy. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, swimming and climbing. She is a keen traveller and enjoys learning about other cultures. She lives with her husband and their boss (AKA their cat), Souris.
