Prue Relland

Prue qualified  as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2005 and has worked primarily for the NHS in a variety of acute settings including cardiothoracic, neurology, orthopaedics and paediatrics.  Since 2009 Prue has been specialising in Burns and Plastics in Chelmsford.

In 2018 Prue decided to work towards her career long dream of qualifying as an ACPAT Veterinary Physiotherapist, achieving this in 2021 from the University of Liverpool.  After qualifying Prue has been working as an ambulatory physiotherapist treating both horses and dogs in the South East counties before joining the Rehabilitation team at the Ralph.

Prue has a keen interest in intensive care and respiratory patients especially how her human physiotherapy expertise and knowledge can influence veterinary physiotherapy care.

Prue has grown up around horses and dogs and currently has two competition ponies at home as well as two rescue pugs, Buzz and Hetty (Princess Diva) and four rescue chickens.  The four legged family members also share the house with Prue’s husband and young son.  As a family they enjoy being outside on their allotment and spending time together as a family.
