Natalie Hubbard
Ophthalmology Nurse
Natalie graduated as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2016. After graduating, she spent many years working in general practice as an out-of-hours night nurse at a busy London Hospital. She completed a Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care with the ISVPS (International School of Veterinary Post Graduate Studies) in 2021.
She then went on to nurse at a small branch, where she formed strong bonds with carers and companion pets. She particularly enjoys nursing geriatric patients, and it was within this where she discovered her interest in Ophthalmology (many pets end up with eye issues as they age!)
She has two pets – a white cat named Gilbert and a 13 year old corn snake called Frankenweenie!
Outside of work, she loves going to gigs, enjoys being at one with nature during scenic walks in The Lake District, and is active in rescuing and rehabilitating wildlife…she does love her pigeons!
