Nancy has loved animals her entire life and has completed a Level 3 National Diploma in Animal Management at Berkshire College of Agriculture and a BSc Honours degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare at the University of Chester.

Nancy has a keen interest in wildlife and has worked at Vale Wildlife Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre where here she found her passion for veterinary nursing.

Nancy has had the opportunity to work in South Africa where she learnt a great deal in the endangerment and protection of species, poaching and how the community can help protect habitats and wildlife. Also, learning how to care and provide enrichment to captive elephants in Surin, Thailand.

Nancy has started her Veterinary Nurse training and wants to work in a referral hospital to gain more experience and skills and once qualified, wants to one day travel around the world working in this field. In her spare time, Nancy loves to spend it with family, going out with friends, walking and exploring nature and bonding with her hamster Alby
