Meridith Swaffield

Theatre Technician

Meridith has always had a love for animals from an early age. She was surrounded by a wide variety of animal growing up including horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, guineas, snakes and geckos to name a few. This has driven her to follow her passion of animals through her education. She previously studied at Berkshire College of Agriculture completing a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Equine Management. Meridith then went on to gain a Certificate of Higher Education in Small & Large Animal Massage Therapy at The Royal Agricultural University.

Meridith has grown a strong interest in animal behaviour and husbandry which has been spurred on with the work she does within the equine industry. Although Meridith has had plenty of experience liaising with vets this will be her first role working within the veterinary industry and she is excited about the new experiences and challenges she will encounter.

A big proportion of Meridith’s time outside of work is spent with her horse Syd who she has brought on herself and has high hopes to compete and have fun with as their partnership flourishes. Meridith also loves taking her two dogs Leo and Wooster for long walks, socialising with friends, cooking and travelling when the opportunity arises.
