ECC Resident
Marta Escobar graduated from the University of Évora (Portugal) in 2015. She worked in a variety of practices from a cat only clinic to sole charge roles in out-of-hours services and in high-case load 24-hour hospitals, in Portugal and the United Kingdom. Despite an early career she has co-organised scientific congresses, supported colleagues in developing their knowledge and skills and published, all with a strong background in leadership, organization and mentoring. More recently, she completed a rotating and an ECC internship at Dick White Referrals, UK. She enjoys all aspects of emergency and critical care with an interest in advanced procedures, cardiac emergencies and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Outside work, she is known as Mia and loves to spend time with family and friends, especially around (a lot of) food, music and laughter. She enjoys sport activities, painting, learning new instruments and more recently she has been re-sparking some (very basic) gymnastics skills.
