ECC Out-Of-Hours Clinician

Maria graduated from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain) in 2018, where she also completed a rotating internship. It was here that she discovered her passion for ECC. She then moved to the UK and worked in general practice for three years, where she enjoyed building strong bonds with patients and their carers.

Keen to pursue further training, she completed both a rotating internship and an ECC internship at the University of Edinburgh and joined The Ralph in July 2025 as an out-of-hours clinician. She particularly enjoys working in ICU, where she can spend more time with critically ill patients, ensuring all their needs are met.

Outside of work, she shares her life with her two black rescue cats, Effy and Jack
