Leanne Hubbard

Emergency and Critical Care Intern

Leanne had a long career working with animals before returning to university as a mature student to study Zoology at Royal Holloway in Surrey. After completing this degree, she qualified as a veterinary surgeon at the RVC.

Leanne’s interest in emergency and critical care began during her out-of-hours rotations at university. She also visited The Ralph ECC service on her EMS (extra-mural studies) last year. After this placement, she knew she wanted to join the team so she could contribute to the ethical and compassionate service we provide.

In her spare time, Leanne loves travelling, trying new foods, and exploring the countryside. She eventually hopes to own a bit of land, and home a herd of retired dairy cows. She shares her home with her fiance, Matthew, and two furry friends: a naughty cat, Jake, and Bruce, the angelic house rabbit.
