Clinical Operations Assistant
Lauren has always had a passion for the natural world and animal care. She started off studying Biosciences before taking a year to travel and try and decide what direction to go in next. Luckily, her pushy Nan volunteered her for a week of work experience at her vets and the rest is history. She joined the Veterinary industry in 2013, qualifying as an RVN in 2017.
For the next few years she worked as a locum nurse picking up new tips in all the different clinics she visited. She took advantage of the independence to travel and spent time volunteering with wildlife in Costa Rica and nursing in a clinic on a little Caribbean island. As it turns out, monkey’s are not the easiest of patients and she has stuck with cats, dogs and small mammals ever since.
Her passion has always been making sure our carers furry family members get the best possible care and now she joins Team Ralph to make a difference in a new role. This move also means Lauren gets the added perk of being near family and her cat Teyla. Teyla is an all white domestic moggy who’s inability to hear you makes her quite jumpy and worried, but she really is a little character once you get to know her.
