Issy began her journey in Veterinary Medicine by completing work experience at her local vet practice and volunteering as an evening helper at a busy first opinion practice in Buckinghamshire. It was here she found her passion for nursing and decided to undertake her training via the apprenticeship route and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in January 2022.

Issy enjoys all aspects of her nursing career, including Wards and Theatre but has a passion for Feline Nursing and Emergency & Critical Care. At her previous practice, she was part of the Endoscopy team and was also a Cat Advocate to encourage a more feline friendly approach to handling and care. After a year working as a qualified nurse, she decided she was ready to explore the world of referral. Issy is excited to get started with her Rotating Internship and is hoping this will help her find her speciality, learn new skills and allow her to provide the best possible care to her patients.
