Georgina graduated from The Royal Veterinary College in 2012 and worked in general practice for 2 years before returning to The Royal Veterinary College to complete a rotating internship in 2014. It was here that she developed a passion for veterinary neurology and decided to pursue a career as a veterinary neurologist! She then returned to practice for another year and worked as an emergency and critical care vet in London.
Georgina then moved to Cambridge University to begin her neurological training, spending a year as a Junior Clinician in Small Animal Neurology before completing a 3 year residency position as a Senior Clinical Training Scholar in Veterinary Neurology.
Georgina enjoys all aspects of working in neurology but is particularly interested in epilepsy and sleep disorders in veterinary medicine. She has published research papers in a variety of topics including; intervertebral disc disease, degenerative lumbosacral stenosis, lysosomal storage disease and spinal tumours.
In her spare time Georgina enjoys travelling, hiking, skiing, eating and running with Olive her canine companion.
