Chris graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Timisoara in 2014. He developed a strong interest in Neurology since the early years of his studies and, after graduation, he moved to the UK to follow his dream of becoming a neurologist. After spending 2 years in a first opinion practice, he completed a rotating internship at Pride Veterinary Centre and obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Veterinary Surgery and Medicine at the University of Nottingham. Chris then received specialist training and completed a 3-year ECVN residency in Veterinary Neurology and Neurosurgery at Pride Veterinary Centre before passing the board examination to become a European Specialist Diplomate in in Veterinary Neurology.
Chris has a genuine passion for all aspects of Neurology and Neurosurgery, with a special interest in movement disorders, neuromuscular conditions, epilepsy, and electroencephalography (EEG). He is also very interested in clinical research and has published papers in scientific journals. His role at The Ralph involves dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of neurological and neurosurgical conditions.
Out of work, Chris is a proud father of 3 dogs and 2 cats, who he rescued during his University years. He enjoys a walk with his dogs in the countryside, traveling, cooking, playing tennis, and being a loyal servant to his two cats.
Chris joined The Ralph Veterinary Referral Centre to share and promote our common core values and ethos and to provide high-quality medical care to animals with neurological and neurosurgical conditions.
