Anaesthesia & Analgesia Clinician and Vet Intern/Resident Support Officer

Andrew graduated from the University of Bristol in 2015. After completing a rotating internship at a Referral centre in Bristol, he stayed on for a further year as an Anaesthesia and Internal Medicine associate, working under the referral team.

Andrew has had a passion for Anaesthesia since clinical rotations at vet school and in 2017, started his specialist anaesthesia training at The Royal Veterinary College, London. Following specialist training he continued as a senior clinician at The RVC, gaining European specialist status in November 2021.
Andrew has particular interest and experience in managing critically ill patients, particularly those following trauma, as well as those with advanced respiratory and cardiac disease. He has published research in a number of areas, focussing mostly on ultrasound-guided locoregional anaesthesia. These skills allow for advanced management of both acute and chronic pain.
Outside of work Andrew enjoys cooking, sharing meals and enjoying live music (not necessarily at the same time) with his friends and partner. He is also a keen aquarist and scuba diver.
