Anastasija Zaharova

Right after graduation Anastasija started working ‘out-of-hours’ for a few months in one of the busiest hospitals in the capital, Riga. Anastasija has always had a special interest in Internal Medicine and has always been a keen traveler and explorer of different cultures. That’s why Anastasija decided to challenge herself, and move to the UK to undertake a rotating internship in a busy referral hospital near Liverpool. Anastasija loves all aspects of Internal Medicine, but has a special interest in endocrinology.

Outside of work Anastasija enjoys spending time with her dog Ripa, that she adopted from a shelter in her first year of vet school. Anastasija and Ripa do most things together, traveling, hiking, cycling, longboarding, and also recently they started running.
