Registered Veterinary Nurse and Night Nurse
Amy graduated in 2009 from the Royal Veterinary College with a Foundation Science degree in Veterinary Nursing. Since then she has held various roles. These include out of hours referral nursing, as well as management of a small animal practice. She was also part of the nursing team at a referral centre in the south of England which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Amy is also a clinical coach, enabling her to mentor student nurses. This is a role that she not only enjoys but which also enables her to stay up to date with the best practice nursing techniques.
Outside of work Amy loves spending time with her own companion animals; her three horses – Luna, Tino and Ella, three dogs – Lola, Louie and Zilah, her cat Woody and her giant rabbit Paisley. Most of her free time is spent with her animals, but she does also enjoy socialising with friends.
