Amanda qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2010, and went on to gain her Advanced Veterinary Nursing Diploma in 2015.
Amanda has worked in several roles within her previous practice, starting as a student nurse and becoming head nurse in 2016. She has also been a clinical coach for student nurses and also works as an examiner for the student nurse final exams.
Amanda has 2 young boys at home, as well as a Burmese cat called Otto and a young Sprocker Spaniel called Izzy. Amanda enjoys being out and about with the family, and is often out walking or running.
Amanda also volunteers as a 1-2-1 peer supporter for the charity PSS, to support women with their choices and treatments during challenging pregnancies.
