After graduating in 2012, Alessandro (Alex) moved to Yorkshire to gain experience in small animal general practice. He completed two small animal rotating internships: one at Willows Referral Service in Birmingham in 2016, and another at the University of Glasgow’s Small Animal Teaching Hospital (GUVS) in 2017. He also completed a small animal surgical internship at the Animal Health Trust in 2018. Alessandro then returned to Yorkshire, where he worked in a small animal orthopaedic referral for two years. In 2021, he embarked on a three-year ECVS Residency in Small Animal Surgery at Dick White Referrals in Cambridge. In 2024, Alessandro joined The Ralph team as a Soft Tissue Surgeon.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He is also a big fan of CrossFit and loves spending time in his tropical style garden.
