Prepare for launch – an event not to be missed
On Saturday 26th January we will be opening our doors and welcoming you in as we officially launch The Ralph before we start seeing our first patients very soon thereafter!
It has been a while in the making, almost 5 years in fact, since Shailen (Founder, CEO and Clinical Director) planted the seed of his vision, and Iqbal (Co-Founder and Finance Director) joined him not long thereafter. Team Ralph is bursting with excitement as we now count down the days to launch.
The day will kick-off at 11am with special tours for members of our veterinary community. During these tours, you will get to see the rooms, equipment and facilities that The Ralph will offer. But more than that, it will be an opportunity for you to meet some of our wonderful team members; the people that will be delivering the compassionate and excellent care we aspire to. We are very excited about the opportunity to meet members of our future referral community and to let you see how and where we will be caring for your patients. There will be plenty of time for any questions you may have during the tour.
Our grand opening will take place at 12:30pm where we will hear a few words from Shailen about The Ralph journey thus far and our collective vision for the future. Our good friend, Bruce Fogle, has also kindly agreed to help us mark this special and momentous occasion. Bruce is a celebrated vet, author, and Chair of the Humane Society International. We have known Bruce for many a year and are delighted he will be celebrating with us.
The afternoon will include live music and entertainment as you take a break from seeing the hospital sights. For children and those young at heart we will have face painting, scavenger hunts, and craft activities on offer. And some of our team will be sharing inspiring stories with budding vets and vet nurses. Guided tours will be available for everyone to attend throughout the afternoon as well. With another veterinary tour taking place at 4pm for those who missed the 11am tour (or if you fancy another walkaround!).
A feast of plant-based food and drinks will be available for you to indulge in. Starting the day with speciality coffees and artisan pastries, followed by street-food inspired wraps for lunch. And if you have room for more, there will be some sweet treats available in the afternoon.
It is a great opportunity for you to see our hospital, get to know us that little bit better and participate in the celebrations. So come along and bring your friends and family for what promises to be a great day.
The organisation of the event has been led by Linda Seren, our Customer Care Team member and supported by Stacey Davidson, Champion for Culture, Community & Innovation, and Zoe Tridgell, Champion for Community Engagement. And with just the final touches left to do, they, along with all of us look forward to welcoming you!
