The residency programme is a big step in Emily and John’s journeys to becoming Veterinary Ophthalmology Specialists. It’s also a big step in The Ralph’s journey – starting our first-ever residency programme.
Residents are specialists-in-training. Emily and John will be working closely under the supervision of Heidi Featherstone, our Head of Ophthalmology, to learn the ins and outs of providing routine, complex and emergency care for a wide range of ocular conditions.
Our people are the heart and soul of our hospital and ensure that we continue to provide the level of compassionate care that we strive for, so we really are thrilled to welcome Emily and John on board!
Our Ophthalmology Service operates a 24-7-365 emergency service, and the Ophthalmology team are supported by our other specialist-led services where appropriate. We are very happy to discuss cases and specific problems with referring vets.
