Managing workplace wellbeing – looking beyond resilience and mindfulness
Thursday, 16 June 2022, 19:30 - 21:00
Are you looking to change the way you feel at work?
Join us for a special CPD session presented by Chartered Psychologist, Dr Kevin Teoh and hosted by Katie Gray, Hospital Counsellor at The Ralph, as we uncover what really affects our wellbeing at work, and what to do about it.
The upheaval across the world since the start of the pandemic has placed an even bigger emphasis on the wellbeing of veterinary professionals. While many organisations have sought to increase the amount of wellbeing interventions and support to their team members, it is not possible to effectively provide support without first recognising the underlying root causes. Only then can you develop appropriate tools to address these.
In this free session, specially created for those working in practice, Dr Kevin Teoh will help you to identify some of the key contributing factors which affect our wellbeing at work and how to use these to inform and structure suitable interventions. We will draw on examples and resources to understand the wellbeing intervention cycle. You will gain an understanding of the need for a holistic and comprehensive approach to support workplace wellbeing, while the session will provide interactive discussions and resources to help you reflect on how this can be applied to your current or future wellbeing initiatives.
Our CPD events are free to attend for all veterinary professionals. This event will be held virtually via Zoom.
