Approach to the trauma patient
The Ralph community has voted, and the chosen topic for our next CPD evening is…the approach to the trauma patient. This CPD session will be delivered by our ECC Diplomate Kim Chong BVetMed CertAVP DACVECC MRCVS.
Every minute counts in emergency situations, so being well prepared for trauma patients can improve outcomes and save lives. During this session Kim will guide you through how to handle trauma patients from the point of the initial assessment to stabilisation and monitoring. We’ll be looking at how to evaluate, prioritise and stabilise patients with a focus on challenging trauma presentations.
Our CPD events are free to attend for all veterinary professionals, and delicious food will be provided. The session will start at 20:00, with food and drinks available from 19:30.
