Diggory’s story: “Why doesn’t he qualify for a miracle?”
Diggory had his nose to the ground and ran into a metal trough hidden amongst the long grass. This caused severe damage to his neck resulting in paralysis and compromise to his respiratory muscles (muscles that facilitate breathing).
A lot of what our Neurology + Neurosurgery team found during their investigations were odds against a potential recovery, and Diggory’s carers found themselves asking “Why doesn’t he qualify for a miracle?”
